I meant to get a lot done during the days off from school, I really did. But somehow that isn’t what happened.
- Wednesday: made a cheesecake and a banana pudding for the next day. That was pretty much it.
- Thursday: fixed Thanksgiving dinner for the family, which isn’t as much work as you’re probably thinking because I let the local grocery store chain do most of the cooking for me.
- Friday: spent most of the day watching the Meerkat Manor marathon. My spouse said, “Just what you needed, another animal show to watch.”
- Saturay: spent the day reading. Stir of Echoes, Emergency, and K-Pax.
Very little actual work has gotten done. Fuck it.

I sure wish they’d had these back when I needed birth control! This is the sort of thing that falls under the heading of, “Why didn’t someone come up with this sooner?!”

I’m hooked on Heroes. Action, mystery, and people with superpowers all in one.
In the first episode I found Hiro mildly annoying. By the third one he was hands-down my favorite character. For me the clincher was “Waffles! Woo hoo!”
