So yesterday I was at a friend’s house; she was stressed
and upset about the numerous things life has been throwing
at her lately, the latest of which is the phone being
disconnected.
Ever the supporting comrade, I asked if she’d prefer me
to stay with her or to be left alone. She said she’d just
like some time to herself.
Wanna guess the last thing I said before leaving?
“Call me if you need anything.”
