First Bookkeeper sent me an e-mail today—obviously she knows my e-mail address, because it used to be her e-mail address. She asked me to give her a call when I get a chance.
I don’t like to be rude, but I think having a private phone conversation with someone who has threatened to sue my boss would rank up there as one of the All-Time Stupid Ideas. Anything she wants to talk about can be discussed in archivable, ass-covering e-mail.
Not to mention the violation of my Stay The Hell Out Of It policy.
