I had the biopsy on Tuesday. Should get the results next week, and then I can talk to the docs about what I’ve decided to do in the meantime.

Had a little bleeding Tuesday and Wednesday, then it stopped. Friday I replaced the empty tank on the water cooler, and evidently while lifting the new one I tore the biopsy site open again. I had some fairly heavy bleeding for the rest of the day (fortunately I keep spare female supplies in my desk drawer).

It was irritating, but it also helped me make up my mind what to do with my bits: they’re coming out. I don’t want to have the lesser procedure done and then wind up having to go have the hysterectomy anyway a few years down the road. I want this to be a one-and-done, and never have to deal with again.

In less TMI news, back at the beginning of the year the boss told me to remind him after tax season that he wanted to look into the Quickbooks ProAdvisor program. So I set up a task in GQueues, and when it popped up last month I sent an e-mail to the boss. “Hey boss, you asked me to remind you that you wanted to get some of us certified as Quickbooks ProAdvisors.”

Boss e-mailed back, “Just you.”

I haven’t brought it up again since then. I’m guessing he wants to be able to put on the website that we have a Quickbooks ProAdvisor on staff. But I’m not sure being a ProAdvisor is a certification that would take my career anywhere I’m interested in going, and I’m really not sure I want to add one more thing to the list of “things only Bertha can do.”

Besides, I’m thinking of taking some database classes, and there are only so many hours in the day.
