Tivo must have gotten an update last night; today some of our recorded shows have a little “skip” icon next to them. I quickly determined that in these shows I can press a particular button on the remote to skip the ads–no fast-forward, just an instantaneous jump to the next bit of show.
This feature has been available to me less than one day, and I’m already bitching about the shows where it’s not an option.
